Well that was... unexpected.

Well, I suppose one day I will learn to expect the unexpected.  Today was not that day.  Yesterday I was leased a beautiful Chrysler Town and Country.  For a mini van this thing is freaking sweet.  Satellite radio, back up camera, touch screen radio, push button door openers and closers, really, pretty sweet.  That was an unexpected surprise.  Golf practice went well yesterday and I hit pretty well.  Until the pressure was on, coach had a competition to see which girl could hit closest to a pole.  Then they all shot and he said, okay now its mine and Coach Pfautz's turn.  Uh... that was unexpected.  3 terrible shots and I felt a little foolish.  Ah well, you live you learn.
I had to go pick up the team shirts for the Susan G. Komen race for the cure.  Went to the casino (where the shirts were).  There was a very odd lady in a truck near where I parked.  She just looked like one of those people you don't trust right away.  My feeling of, let's call it, awareness was reinforced when  I locked my car and she was now laying down in the front of her truck.  That's odd.  I went in anyway, leery of what I might find when I returned.  Got in, went through the line easy peasy.  That was surprising.  Came back out, my car was fine and the lady was now outside her truck brushing her hair and grinding her teeth vigorously.  Her hair is a story unto itself.  She was about 5'6 or 5'7" with hair that reached the back of her knees, seriously.  That was unexpected.
I don't really recall anything exciting the rest of the day except Sam got back in town and we got shaved ice.  Sam ordered the #2 previously nicknamed "poop"  Pomegranate, Orange, Pineapple.  You can't make this stuff up!  I had sugar free cherry and sugar free blue raspberry half and half.  Yum!  Took a quick spin in the T&C and called it a night.
This morning was awesome, cloudy, cool, breezy.  This is my idea of good weather.  (sun would be nice but the temp was perfect!)  I went to pick coach up at his house and on the way to get the girls he says his wife wants the black minivan.  He guessed I wouldn't mind switching since they are the same van.  We laughed about it and switched when we got to school.  I had to move all my stuff out, pretty sure I still left something in there but I guess we'll find it later.  Allow me to note, the vans are NOT the same!  Dodge versus Chrysler.  Very similar but not the same.  He called seniority so I've gotta suck it up but that sure was unexpected.  The girls saw that we were switching vehicles and quickly jumped ship.  I've had the same two girls.  While coach takes the other 4.  I'd like to get to know the other girls.  I think they'd like me if I got a chance but I haven't had that chance yet.  I'm not gonna lie, it kinda hurt my feelings... that's dumb but true, unexpected.  We warmed up in the putting green and sand trap.  I realized I didn't have a sand wedge (unexpected).  Worked my game a little learned to chip better than before.  Then, the surprise of the day (so far) coach wants us to play out two holes.  I'm in, first time in over 3 years to play out a hole.  FAIL!  First shot, crap.  Second, SLICE.  Third, SLICE.  Fourth, CRAP!  I quit.  Literally I just stopped playing the first hole.  But, on the second hole I got back on the saddle.  Couldn't let this sport get the best of me!  So, I tried again and although I know I can do better if my drive was stronger and my second shot was not a slice.  I didn't do awful!  I think I shot 7 on a par 5.  Not bad for my first completed hole in quite some time. Took the girls back and soon I'll head up to NKC during enrollment to see if they have any polo's for sale.  I know I'm getting one for free from golf and Coach said he would bring in any shirts he has that he doesn't mind letting go of, that was very nice and unexpected.
I called Pappa and told him Sam and I are coming for a visit on Friday.  He sounded good and was hearing me really well.  That's good!  I plan to run up to NKC, play some xbox, do some laundry, and see what the day brings.  Tomorrow, I've got golf, tshirt hand out, and a dentist appointment.  Look out world, the Lame Lady Adventure don't stop.  Haha!

On my way to NKC I run in to this...
A child riding on the back of his Grandpa's Rascal all the way to Quick Trip.  Uh-mazing and unexpected! I thought I had one more thing to say and now I can't remember it... oh well!
